He appeared in New London Superior Court this afternoon on three counts of second-degree manslaughter with a motor vehicle, driving the wrong way on the highway, illegal entry or exit on a highway and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.Judge Karen A. Goodrow, who had signed the arrest warrant, set his bond at $750,000 and continued the case to Sept. 9.Marjorie Minor, 90, of North Haven, Barbara Prato, 63, of East Haven and Tamara Nolin, 71, of Branford died in the crash. Nolin was driving her friends home from one of the local casinos when their Nissan Maxima was struck by Sundstrom's Oldsmobile Alero as he drove north in the southbound lane of the highway about three-tenths of a mile south of Exit 70. The crash occurred almost instantaneously as state police began receiving 911 calls about a wrong-way driver.With the help of victim advocates from the court and Mothers Against Drunk Driving, family members, who had met earlier with prosecutor Mary Jean Kanabis, stood up one by one to tell the judge that Sundstrom should remain in prison on a high bond."The lives of three ladies were taken just before Christmas," said Nolin's brother, Keith Nolin. "I don't understand why the bond wouldn't be $750,000 for each of these individuals, because each of them was taken."Prato's daughter, Melissa Prato, said the women were "full of life" and had been celebrating their birthdays that night."They didn't get to come home because of an alleged drunken driver," Prato said.All three women died at the crash scene as the result of blunt traumatic injuries, according to an arrest warrant affidavit prepared by State Trooper Mark Farotti. "Tourism arrivals from South-east Asia to Switzerland have shown an increase of approximately 30 per cent over the last three years," she added.The reintroduction of the flights, serviced with SWISS's latest Airbus A340 aircraft, is not only a boon for business travellers but is also expected to boost tourism links between the two countries. As it is there is a reasonable level of traffic between Singapore and Switzerland.According to Singapore Tourism Board figures, arrivals from Switzerland amounted to 79,023 in 2011 and officials estimate that full-year figures for the whole of 2012 will come up to about 86,000. Last year, the number of Singapore visitors to Switzerland increased by about 28 per cent to 70,565 arrivals, according to the Swiss Federal Statistical Office."With the introduction of the SWISS flight, the ties between the two strong business and financial centres in Europe and South-east Asia will be further enhanced," Ms Ong said, pointing to the convenience of the daily night flight and good onward connections from Zurich to more than 49 European destinations as well as the east coast of the United States as plus factors.While SWISS has no plans at the moment to expand its services, it has seen encouraging response. 　　學生就算未踏足社會，self storage早已從不同媒介了解創業、投資等營商概念。有機構以比賽形式，讓學生實踐書本所學的理論。同學要認真做資料搜集，加上創意，結合社會實況而作每一個商業決定，從比賽過程，難得以另一個角度認識商業社會。　　連續第七年舉辦的「FedEx Express / 國際成就計劃之國際貿易挑戰賽」，本港 3 間中學：喇沙書院、中華基金中學和英皇書院於香港區選拔賽勝出，將代表香港參加月中舉行的亞太區決賽，與來自日本、韓國、馬來西亞、新西蘭等 8 個國家的學生爭奪亞太區大獎。　　參賽學生需要為非洲埃塞俄比亞擬定營商計劃，以促進當地發展為前提，3 間中學分別以免費廁所、社企營運酒店，以及收集餐廳的廢油，循環再造成有機肥皂以改善人民生活的方案勝出。　　雖說是高中生的模擬計劃，不過，學生構思力求完善，資料搜集絕不馬虎，難保沒有真正實行的一天！社企酒店 培訓人才　　中華基金中學的何晉豪及徐善姿，以社企形式與埃塞俄比亞政府合作，開設度假酒店，並以此計劃培訓當地觀光服務及旅遊業人才。度假酒店以「3P」經營理念，即人才（People）、環境（Planet）及利潤（Profit），部分利潤將津貼當地年輕人在職培訓，從而改善跨代貧窮。　　何晉豪表示，埃塞俄比亞的旅遊業每年收益達 400 億，非洲聯盟總部以及各地總部均設於首都阿迪斯阿貝巴，每年有不少商務客，因此其計劃針對的客源亦以商務為主。「首都的國際品牌連鎖酒店只有 Sheraton 和 Hilton，因此對酒店需求很大。」徐善姿補充，從旅遊網如 hotel.com 得悉當地民宿的�生水準不算好，不是商務客首選。「不過，我們的 Resort 也有專為背包客而設的住宿，相對收費亦便宜，希望選民宿的背包客亦會選擇我們，從而增加酒店利潤。」營運酒店要看折舊成本，這點同學也有考慮。「我們酒店的設計風格以當地本土特色為主，不會用豪華地毯等，因此，相對折舊支出會低些。」計劃預計 3迷你倉年內可收支平衡。　　雖云免費在職培訓，可幫助當地因家貧未有進修機會的年輕人，不過，徐善姿亦直指計劃有員工流失的隱憂。「受訓後，他們是否會在我們的酒店工作？另外，他們會否返回家中的農地幫忙？始終當地有男女階級觀念，若女生受訓後，能否在酒店繼續工作？而長子亦需要繼承農地，未必會在酒店工作。」另外，不少商務客由公司提供出差住宿，會否早已跟連鎖酒店有聯繫，這也是同學的顧慮。廁所化糞 成肥料　　　喇沙書院的趙文賓及許耀藝從好些當地人網誌，甚至大學學者的研究論文，得悉阿迪斯阿貝巴和巴赫達爾（Bahir Dar）市的廁所�生狀況惡劣，甚至將排泄物隨便丟棄在河流。「當地只有三成人使用廁所，令環境造成污染。」這個數據也是他倆瀏覽當地大學的地理系網頁，尋找相關的研究而來，不得不佩服其求真精神，亦因此令他們興起設置免費而完備的廁所概念。「當地的水源不足，設計廁所時要考慮這點，因此，我們參考了同樣有水源不足問題的瑞典，他們有科技不用太多水處理排泄物。」許耀藝補充。　　埃塞俄比亞有近八成人口務農及從事相關行業，接近四成 GDP 由農作物而來。趙文賓及許耀藝盤算以廁所收集排泄物，加入稻草及碳等，待自然分解 3 個月，便造成生物肥料。趙文賓說：「雖然政府有資助，不過，大都是工廠製造以及從外國輸入，價錢較貴，而農民收入不高，亦難以還債。我們可提供相對較便宜的有機肥料，因為成本低，售價亦較低，可減輕農民負擔。」許耀藝說，當地也有社企利用植物殘渣做肥料，不過，產量始終不多，他覺得用人排泄物更可行。　　既改變當地人如廁文化，亦直接減省農民肥料開支，看似雙贏之局，同學亦自知計劃有不足。許耀藝指出，任何商業計劃都要靠市場策劃，配合宣傳幫助達標。「我們不熟悉當地文化傳統，該如何用最好的方法宣傳產品？就算我們覺得產品可行，當地人又未必一定會用。」趙文賓認同：「商業概念可行，最重要是怎樣推出？知名度是否夠高，令當地人用我們的廁所，又買我們的肥料？」文件倉

順德陳村將辦花卉美食節日前，儲存記者從順德陳村鎮獲悉，第八屆中國嶺南美食節核心活動之「首屆陳村花卉美食節」將在8月-10月舉行，該美食節最大的亮點是，所有菜式都以花卉為主題，以花入菜，打造陳村花宴。同時陳村鎮飲食協會也正式成立，將致力於推廣陳村花卉美食，這也是佛山首個鎮級餐飲協會。據了解，陳村將在8月開始啟動專業和非專業組的美食大賽，鼓勵選手創新以花入菜，創造出花卉美食名品，優勝者可入選「陳村花卉美食精品宴」菜譜。同時，為推廣花卉美食品牌，陳村還將舉辦廣東(佛山)安全食用農產品博覽會。胡嘯原

新班子組建以來，迷你倉出租密集的論證會已成為一種現象，官員稱部分會議成果已轉化成政府工作指導意見7月29日，“港珠澳大橋通車後珠中江面臨發展機遇”專家論證會在珠海舉行，國家、省以及澳門的多位專家參與論證。據南都記者不完全統計，這是珠海新班子組建以來的第17場各類論證會。其中，論證範圍僅限珠海的有13個，全國性的會議3個，分別是去年舉辦的生態城市年會、今年舉辦的城市規劃大會和3D打印發展論壇，區域性1個，即大橋經濟專家論證會。必要性何在？官員：每個論證會都有針對性論證會一般用在專業領域討論具體問題，如某項立法的論證會、具體規劃的論證會等，而近一年多來，這一形式被珠海廣泛運用。上任17個月，舉辦17個高端論證會(會議)，規模最大的是1800多人，最小的也有50多人。論證會命題多數偏宏大，從城市規劃、產業發展、到科學發展與文化自覺等，共有6大類型。舉辦這麼多論證會，邀請大批專家，僅費用支出一項就不菲，給珠海帶來了什麼？或許是讀者心中第一個需要釋疑的。市政府一名官員解釋，這些論證會多是圍繞解答珠海的實際問題而開展的，為實施“藍色珠海，科學崛起”戰略提供思路和借鑒。尤其是珠海打造產業體系、學習建設“宜居城市”的經驗、開拓旅遊市場時，站在全球的視野高度，因此，類似的論證會就顯得很有必要。質量達標嗎？官員：90%專家是有備而來的上述官員透露，這些論證會一般都是依托相關職能部門進行，每個論證會均要準備很長時間，所邀請的專家，主辦單位會提前將資料發給受邀專家，讓對方充分瞭解珠海，對所 提 出 的 問 題 進 行 周 密 思考，提出對策或借鑒。而受邀方如果僅看資料還無法瞭解掌握的話，還得在會前前來珠海實地考察。“當然，不可能保證每個受邀專家都會很認真對待，但可以肯定的是超過90%的專家都是有備而來。”上述官員稱，“這從他們的發言中可以看出。”辦論證會議的職能部門將會議上的意見進行收集整理，形成報告報市委、市政府領導，供決策參考。之後，市委、市政府形成工作指導意見，最後轉化為具體的發展政策措施。上述官員表示，目前來看，像城市規劃論證、海洋經濟發展論證等都結出了碩果，其中前者已經出台了多個城市近期及中遠期規劃，並出台了《珠海經濟特區城鄉規劃條例》等。而後者，據其透露，市委、市政府近期將出台加快海洋產業發展的若干意見等。專題年報17個論證會(2012年6月6日-7月29日)黨政一把手愛“頭腦風暴”論證會是珠海的特色？對比：各個城市的政府對“論證會”這種形式的應用是不一樣的。就政務信息的收集和發佈來說，現在珠三角各個城市的市一級政府官網已經儲存倉比較全且詳細。因此，我們可以從市一級政府的官網里看“論證會”這項形式在實際工作中的應用的情況。廣州政府門戶網站“中國廣州政府”，站內搜索“論證會”，得到13個結果，都是市政府領導出席的論證會，最早的一次是在2007年10月，時間最近的是2011年11月，多數為針對某項具體規劃、某個具體建設方案而召開，而且都屬於某項具體工作的其中一個步驟。如“東濠湧與荔枝灣湧二期整治工程方案專家論證會”。深圳政府門戶網站“深圳政府在線”，站內搜索“論證會”，可得到61個結果，而其中真正與深圳相關只有18個，時間從2009年到2012年，都是政府職能部門舉行的小型專題論證會，如“市建築工務署召開大運中心外圍護工程專家論證會”、“節能與新能源汽車示範推廣實施方案專家論證會”、“重大和基本公共衛生服務項目論證會”等。珠海政府門戶網站“中國珠海”，站內搜索“論證會”，可獲得5頁共300多個結果。去掉不相關的內容，再合併同類項，從2012年6月至今，就有17個結果。而且全是由黨政一把手牽頭召開、由國內外頂尖專家、國家部委、省職能部門人士參與的V IP級會議，形成所謂的“頭腦風暴”。政要月報共37項工作(2013年7月24日-7月30日)政要周報本期閱讀提示●本期觀察主角珠海市委書記李嘉珠海市長何寧卡●本期觀察時間2012年6月-2013年7月30日●數據來源1、機關報公開報道2、珠海市委、市政府官網發佈消息(本期內容均為不完全統計)●觀點來源市政府人士簽約省部門拓寬“省級關係網”繼續“向上借力”？點評：第11期政情觀察盤點珠海目前已與11個省政府職能部門簽訂戰略合作協議，7月25日與省外經貿廳簽約，是確定了第12個“關係戶”。自去年以來，不斷從上一級部門甚至是國家部委“借力”，是珠海黨政班子的一個特點。簽約外經貿廳，看得出珠海在開拓國際市場、獲得更多海外投資方面的努力。訪歐訪美外國朋友要多交準備“國際化”？點評：繼上月市長何寧卡出訪法國瑞士等西歐國家後，市委書記李嘉7月中旬到美國和加拿大的兩個港口城市取經。兩位官員都在國外極力推介珠海的產業發展空間，還有橫琴的“國際投資熱土”形象。回國之後，李嘉又到廣州拜訪了省外事辦，表達了要邀請國際知名企業和各國駐華使節到珠海考察的訴求。人氣和機會固然值得去爭取，但真正能“介入國際競爭”(珠海市的產業發展目標之一，詳見《三高一特產業體系規劃》)，還要看本地的產業實力。目前珠海經濟總量尚不足，高端產業的規模尚在形成當中。AⅡ12-13版策劃：南都記者 張應昂執行:南都記者 戴越 張應昂南都製圖:李勇迷你倉沙田
