Likewise, luxury escorted tour groups to Europe, the United States and Australasia are particularly high. An eight-day luxury tour to Europe has increased 60 percent to HK$42,000 from HK$26,000 last year. And nine-day luxury tours to New Zealand have increased 60 percent to HK$47,000. Although it is a relatively inexpensive destination, the price of tours to Vietnam has risen by 20 percent because of a shortage of airline seats.
