A single mother was yesterday sentenced to two weeks in jail for posing as a licensed tour guide to a mainland group in 2010.迷你倉 However, Cheng Hok-kong, 48, was released immediately as she had been in custody for two weeks pending sentence. Cheng earlier pleaded guilty of using the permit of another tour guide with the same surname. Kowloon City Magistrates' Court heard that Chen Youming, a retired national table tennis player who was in the tour group, died of heart attack after quarreling with Cheng. The lawyer for Cheng pleaded for leniency, saying his client is a single mother 文件倉nd has to look after her 23-year-old daughter. Magistrate Jonathan Wong Kwok-ho said Cheng's actions have hurt the interests of tour groups in general and damaged the image of Hong Kong. But since she had pleaded guilty, the court reduced the sentence to two weeks. The court earlier heard that Chen and his wife were on a four- day trip to Hong Kong from Hunan province. Cheng took the group to a jewelry outlet in Hung Hom but when Chen walked out she ordered him to return, which sparked off an argument.
